Therapy for when you’re unraveling, rebuilding, or somewhere in-between

WELCOME

A space to be witnessed, slow down, and reconnect with yourself

I’m a Seattle mental health counselor who works with folks navigating identity, grief and loss, and the messy in-between spaces of life - especially interracial adoptees and those who’ve always felt a little on the outside of things.

Maybe you’ve always felt a little on the outside - of your family, your culture, your friend group, even your own story.

Maybe you’re navigating identity, adoption, grief, or just trying to find your footing in a season that feels tender and in-between. You may be in a moment - or a slow, subtle unraveling - where you know something needs to shift. You want to reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel scattered or hidden.

If you’re in a season of unraveling, shifting identities, or slowly coming back to yourself, I’m here for it - and you. Let’s chat!

Feeling disconnected from others-or yourself?

I work with individuals and couples

I offer a space to explore who you are, where you’ve been, and who you’re becoming. Therapy with me is relational and collaborative, not too stuffy or clinical. It’s often at a slower pace for noticing what’s true and what matters to you.

Hey, I’m Lauren!

I am a mid-morning person (somewhere in between an early riser and late sleeper!). I love cooking, baking and sharing a meal brings me so much joy. I am obsessed with tennis, love plants and wildflowers and being near water.

I am a mental health counselor who believes healing happens through relationship. I work best with folks who’ve always felt a little outside - of their families, friend groups, cultures, or even themselves. I work with people navigating identity, grief and loss, and those wanting to re-connect to self.

I’m especially drawn to working with fellow adopted folks (Korean interracial adoptee here!) because I believe that our unique experiences deserve to be understood, centered and honored in the therapy space.

Just bring your real, human self. We’ll start there.
